Why do attendees return to PestWorld each year? While the world-class education and exhibits are compelling on their own, at the heart of it all is the people. The old friends, the new contacts, the shared stories.
In these changing times, the need for a reliable network has never been stronger. And your community is coming together again—virtually—to reconnect through unique experiences. That includes a live opening ceremony with entertainment from Nashville, live Q&As with speakers, interactive roundtables with your peers, and casual coffee chats throughout the three days. Plus, virtual mixers for different interest groups will pair you with like-minded professionals across the globe to share insights and talk growth, making for long-lasting connections.
The PestWorld Roundtables are a fantastic opportunity to connect and interact with your peers on topics that are meaningful to you! Two Roundtables will be held each day.

The pest control industry is made up of adaptable entrepreneurs that have instituted proactive policies as we’ve navigated the challenges of the last six months. COVID-19 has thrown us all into uncharted territory, both in our business and personal lives for the past 6 months. Join this interactive and open discussion as participants will hear from others and share their own lessons learned leading their company and team through this pandemic. Get ready for a unique and collaborative session filled with creative dialogue, shared resources, new service offerings, operational adjustments and real world experiences you can learn from and apply to in your own organization.
Our employees are our business and the success of recruiting and retaining talent is key to future growth and success. Through the NPMA Workforce Development Initiative, we’ll explore how the new website, social properties and resources will influence how employee acquisition takes place in our industry. Discussions will also focus on the cost and techniques used by innovators to attract, onboard and engage employees for long-term careers in pest management.
The world will likely be forever changed by the global pandemic and to help acclimate to a potential new way of life, innovation and technology have rapidly expanded. Spend time with colleagues discussing ways our industry has embraced new tools and examining what has worked best for essential service companies in providing true value for your businesses and your customers. We’ll also discuss what’s on the horizon and what tools have worked for you!
Middle class homeowners have been the backbone of our industry, purchasing our services to protect their family and household. Additionally, the middle class accounts for a huge customer base for our commercial customers, dining out, shopping, spending time in offices and more. As wealth continues to be more unevenly distributed to the upper class and with the potential for the middle class to shrink over the next generation, this session will explore ways we can adapt our services and message to appeal to as large a group as possible moving forward.
We’ll also explore upcoming generations and their buying habits.
In a world where science is now politicized and the trust in government institutions being scrutinized, what will this mean for the future of new products and registrations and how do we communicate the value and safety of our services to the end user. Spend time with leading professionals, chatting about how the future of a science based approach to pest management may be upended by the perceptions of future generations.
With elections taking place just weeks after PestWorld 2020, this is your chance to engage with industry leaders in a dynamic discussion about how the landscape of American Politics will influence your business. With a recently introduced federal bill, aimed at drastically unraveling FIFRA, banning products and eliminating state preemption, we need your participation. This roundtable will focus on potential new regulation and legislation in 2021 and beyond, and how we can protect and promote our industry with elected officials in local government, state capitals, and in Washington, D.C.
