Visibility is key when exhibiting at an onsite meeting, so the million dollar question is, what does a virtual exhibit booth even look like? And just as important, how will attendees find my booth? How will my staff be able to interact with the attendees? At PestWorld 2020, you’ll see that your virtual booth can look very similar to your booth at an onsite meeting. As a virtual exhibitor you have the ability to customize your booth, putting forward your best products, promotional materials, and videos to draw attendees into your booth and make new connections. Choose from a variety of booth sizes and layouts, just as you would at an onsite show. Available booth layouts will be determined by the exhibitor package you purchase. *Images below are only examples of possible booth layouts. Actual booth layout will vary based on package purchased.

EXHIBITOR METRICS REPORTING & ATTENDEE ENGAGEMENT |

While visibility is key, lead capture and engagement with attendees is a close second. As a virtual exhibitor you might be wondering how do attendees interact with you? How does lead capture work since there are no badges to scan? Or, you might be thinking that there’s no way being a virtual exhibitor will bring you the same ROI you would get onsite, so what’s the point of participating? Unlike our typical onsite event, PestWorld 2020, will now offer access to the exhibit hall 24/7 for attendees. That means your time in front of attendees has just grown exponentially! We’ll still have set exhibit hall hours (PRIME TIME) where there is no other programming going and attendees are encouraged to enter the hall to network, but now they’ll have the option to enter the hall whenever they want around the clock. You might be thinking, am I expected to keep my booth staffed 24hrs a day?! No, that would be exhausting! Exhibitors are encouraged to have their booth staffed during the stated exhibit hall PRIME TIME hours. These blocks of times will be an opportunity for attendees to visit the hall knowing that if they view a booth, one of your staff will be there to answer any questions they have and interact with them. You’ll have the ability to reach out to attendees through the chat feature, and from there you’ll be able to transition over to a video chat (if you want). What happens when an attendee visits your booth while it’s not staffed? Attendees still have the opportunity to visit your booth even if you aren’t there. They can view any demos or marketing ads you post and they also have the opportunity to leave you a message. The next time someone from your company logs back into the booth they’ll see the missed message and have the opportunity to reach out for follow up. This brings us to our next point… Lead retrieval & data capture as a virtual exhibitor is great! As soon as someone enters your booth their information is captured! Have you ever been in deep conversation with a customer and had someone walk into your booth only to leave because no one was available? That’s a potential new customer you might have missed out on. Now, as a virtual exhibitor, you will capture that attendees information and have the ability to follow back up with them at a later time. With exhibit hall access 24/7 the ability to capture the lead data from attendees regardless of whether or not you're “in” your booth is huge! Once PestWorld 2020 ends, you’ll be able to download a variety of reports that outline all the attendee data that was captured during the event. NPMA will still provide a full attendee list after the event, but now you’ll have the ability download the reports you want, when you want them. All of these available reports can be located and downloaded from your control panel within the platform. Reports will be downloaded in a .csv file format and will contain the following info: attendee name, position, company name, address, and email. Each report includes all details captured during registration with a summary of activity across the environment. The types of reports available for download are:

EXHIBIT HALL ACCESS |

At an onsite event attendees may be in the hall to just browse the aisles and see what companies are present – they can do that at a virtual event too! Whether an attendee has a company in mind or just wants to wander, a virtual exhibit hall gives them the choice. Attendees start their virtual journey in PestWorld’s lobby, from there they have the ability to check out the education sessions, go visit the exhibit hall, pop into one of the networking areas, etc… (Below are examples of various virtual lobbies and may not reflect PestWorld 2020’s virtual lobby) Once an attendee enters the exhibit hall they can browse through the participating companies, or use the search function to find what they are looking for. Exhibitors have the opportunity to select their booth’s “cover photo”, as well as populate a company description that can be displayed when someone hovers their mouse over your company’s booth. Placement of booths upon initial entry to the exhibit hall will be determined by level of participation, starting with strategic partners and event sponsors, followed by companies in order of their booth size/tier purchased (Gold > Silver > Bronze). Within each tier, placement will be determined by order of seniority. Attendees also have the opportunity to use the search feature, which reveals a full exhibitor directory with the ability to filter by company name or product/service category. The search feature will display the full list of companies in order alphabetically and allow for attendees to narrow down their search using the filters at the top of the page. |

I was already signed up to be an exhibitor for the onsite PestWorld Convention. Do I need to do anything to confirm my participation in the virtual event? As an exhibitor previously registered for PestWorld 2020, you will automatically be moved into the virtual event at a booth tier that most accurately reflects the booth size you purchased for the onsite event. A staff member from NPMA will be in touch within the next few weeks to review your next steps in the virtual exhibitor process, including when you are able to access the virtual platform, how you access the virtual platform, and the materials needed to begin your booth set up.

CANCELLATION POLICY |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Any cancellation requests must be in writing and emailed to Megan Moloney. Cancellation requests received prior to August 14, 2021 will be eligible for a refund less a $500 cancellation processing fee per every 100sqft of booth space purchased. Cancellation requests received after August 14, 2021 will not be eligible for a refund.
